Obama hopes for economic collapse

For some reason it seems to me that Obama is hoping for another economic collapse. I'll try to keep it simple enough so that democrats can even comprehend this. If I'm wrong no big deal, but if I'm right, God help us all because the housing bust won't be anything compared to this.
First, he has declined to approve the Keystone Pipeline due to his slavery to the environmentalist and his desire to keep them happy, and their money. This decision, is going to have a two fold impact. One, it will allow the job creation associated with it's construction to go by the wayside for at least another year. Two, the lack of new energy production will allow oil prices to continue to rise.
The next decision he has made that will contribute to our demise is the refusal to confront Iran and the trouble stirring in the middle east. The unstable atmosphere in the region has caused a direct effect of oil price increases and in turn, a hike in gas prices in the past month. This is just the start of things to come.
The future for oil prices is looking bleak for the United States and the American public. The economy will start to slow again when Gas prices start to inch up toward $4.00 dollars a gallon again. People that live in rural areas and do not have alternate transportation means will simply sit home and save money to put into the gas tank. We have already seen this once before, right before the housing bust, gas hit $4.00 dollars a gallon and the economic push we needed stopped. People seem to think that the housing bubble started this crises, they have blinder on, the increase of gas prices started it all. When people couldn't meet their budgeted obligations due to the increase of transportation cost, it became a domino effect. They needed money for fuel, stopped any extra spending on unneeded consumer goods, this in turn slowed down the manufacturing sector, which started laying off people, then they couldn't pay their house note and it got worse from there.
Obama seems to be hoping for the same thing to happen all over again. With his refusal to do anything to make us energy independent from OPEC and middle east interest, it will only be a matter of time before gas prices will slow the economic engine of the US once again.
If the predictions of the experts are right, gas will hit nearly $5.00dollars a gallon by mid summer, just in time for the presidential political game to heat up. Gas prices when Obama took office was just below $2.00dollars a gallon and continued to rise since he has been in. The economic recovery started slowly when prices got lower, and we are just now seeing the result. We will see the economic slow down start again by summer, it will be directly related to gas prices and commercial property my see the next bust. When people have to stay home and quit shopping because they need the money for gas, business's will close and inflation will hit all sectors due to transportation cost.
We have to seek energy independence in order to save our economy. Obama will never let it happen, so vote for change you can live on, believe it.

The Governmet Can Stop Rising Gas Prices

Don't think the government can't do anything about rising gas and desiel prices? Read this link click here for facts that the press doesn't tell you.
The state and federal government could reduce gas prices 30 to 70 cents a gallon depending on the state tax, by suspending the gas tax while we open oil leases.
There is oil across the Dakota's and Canada that could supply the US with billions of gallons of oil, that could send the oil speculators in the other direction.
A step to reduce gas prices would be open exploration to all oil companies in the American mid west and Alaska.  The Bakken Oil shale that extend from Canada to North Dakota and Montana this find alone could yield close to 4 billion barrels of oil. This is find to second to the over 10 billion gallons of oil that could be in ANWAR Alaska. The deepwater gulf and coastal exploration should be opened to tap into the billions of gallons of oil off each cost. Off the Atlantic cost alone there is over 7 billions of conventionally recoverable oil.
If we were to start building refineries within ten miles of both coast of the United States and we were to start opening up all drilling areas, the speculators would drive the cost down. We could actually gas prices below $1.25 by fall and OPEC would be forced to lower prices to compete. Production levels would increase automatically in the mid east, just to keep up with production from the well the US has that are uncapped and put into service within 60 days. In 24 months we could have oil flowing that make up 90 percent of the needs of oil in the US. This would also create high paying jobs in the construction industry while waiting to reduce our energy need from over seas.
With cars getting better and better fuel milage every year the billions of barrels of oil here in the US will stretch even more in the future.
Please read the link above to find out more on this subject and see the other articles on this blog to find out how much oil we could find in the mid west.

The Nonsense never stops from the liberals

The nonsense of the liberal mind never ceases to amaze me. With the shooting in Arizona just the latest example of the the fear mongering that they promote. Blaming it on the TEA Party, on talk radio and Fox News for the actions of a delusional mad man.

I wonder sometimes if fear is the only thing that they have left at this point. After loosing the election this past November, and loosing control of the house of representatives they act like it was just a misunderstanding. I truly believe sometimes that they think the American public are just a bunch of idiots that don't know what's good for them. They fail to accept the fact that the people voted them out for their policies.

Obama seems to moving closer to the center and the congress moving closer to the left. Will this mean that when the 2012 elections come around will they still endorse him. Probably.

If the republicans in the house continue to promote ideas that will actually help the economy and try to get rid of the Democrat health care bill the only chance they will have is promoting fear. Labeling the TEA Party as extremist as they did before. Will it work this time? As for me, I don't think so. I look for more of the same desperate behavior from the left in the future with help from the main steam media to sell their fear. I wait for the next big news story that they can use to compare the right with Nazi's as has happened already.
We wait and see.

The Tale of Two Women, Palin vs Michelle Obama

By, Alaskan Fisherman.

As posted in comments on Greta's article referencing the MOVEON ad about Sarah Palin.

The last 45 of my 66 years I’ve spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska. I understand Alaska politics but never understood national politics well until this last year.  Here's the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it.   It's not about persona, style, rhetoric, it's about doing things.   Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I'm about to mention here.

1. Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the Governor's office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican's "Corrupt Bastards Club” (CBC) and sent them packing.  Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits.  The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, "la la la la" (well, you know how they are).  Name another governor in this country that has ever done anything similar.

2.  Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here.  So she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called "ACES."   Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, "don't let the door hit you in the stern on your way out."  They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich.  Of course, the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line.  Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar.

3. The other thing she did when she walked into the governor's office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as "pork."  She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the "when-hell-freezes-over” stack.  She let locals know that if we need something built, we'll pay  for it ourselves.  Maybe she figured she could use the money she  got from selling the previous governor's jet because it was extravagant.  Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor's  cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the  State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and  dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning - I imagine  - that she's packing heat herself).  I'm still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.

4. Now, even with her much-ridiculed  "gosh and golly" mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new  approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest  private construction project in the history of North America .  No one else could do it although they tried.  If that doesn't impress you, then you're trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand.

5. For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson.  They made excuses the entire time why they couldn't start drilling.  In truth they were holding it like an investment.  No governor for 30 years could make them get started.  Then, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out.  They protested and threatened court action.   She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house.  Alaska won again.

6. President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for electricity by 2025.  Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% renewable by 2025.  We are already at 25%.  I can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and persona.   Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, and look cool.  But that's just a cover-up.
I'm still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other governors who can match what
mine has done in two and a half years.  I won’t be holding my breath.

By the way, she was content to return to AK after the national election and go to work, but the haters wouldn't let her.  Now these adolescent screechers are obviously not scuba divers.  And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a barracuda.  Without warning, it will spin around
and tear your face off.  Shoulda known better.

You have just read the truth about Sarah Palin that sends the media, along with the democrat party, into a wild uncontrolled frenzy to discredit her.  I guess they are only interested in skirt chasers, dishonesty, immoral people, liars, womanizers, murderers and bitter ex presidents' wives.

So "You go, Girl."  I only wish the men in Washington had your guts, determination, honesty, and morals.
I rest my case.   Only FOOLS listen to the biased media.

If you've read this far  ......... now open your eyes..........

Can OPEC kill the economy?

If you think the housing bust was about bad loans, yes, a lot of the loans were made to low lifes that knew they could never pay the loan. But, the housing bust corresponded with what, the last rise in the prices at the pump. Most people live on a budget, when the budget is busted, it forces people to makes cut somewhere.
When gas prices hit $4.00 a gallon, not only did effect how much it cost to fill up a car, it did much more. Fuel cost increased the cost of shipping everything. Food went up, airline tickets went up and business's started to suffer. Restaurants and other establishments begin to layoff workers due to the business turn down.
When peoples disposable income began to disappear, their budgets began to get out of whack. Part of the  money they had allocated to help pay the bills started going in their tanks and to pay for the increase in grocery prices.
The economy seems to be slowly recovering now. Jobs are not readily available yet, but small business is seeing some growth, along with housing sales picking up. The American public is still vulnerable to rising gas prices, with a lot of blue collar workers dependent on independent travel to and from jobs, small increase hurt.
If OPEC decides to cut production to increase prices, who will stop them. Oil prices are on the rise again and will probably continue through the summer. This will coincide with summer travel plans with millions of Americans headed on vacation. With every price increase at the pump, they will have to cut something somewhere. One less night at the hotel, one less meal they eat out, multiply this by the amount of travelers and isn't hard to see where this is headed.
If we head into another economic turn down with the unemployment rate already at 9plus percent, around 20percent in the construction field, what happens then. Do we blame this on the financial institutes again? When prices at the pump go up the congress is quick to blame the gas companies and fail to mention the role of our foreign dependence on oil. Do we have a recourse against OPEC creating self imposed shortages, such as cutting production? Price at the pump depends on the price of a barrel of oil.

So, are we headed for another economic slow down, prices at the pump are up now over a dollar a gallon from last year, which is keeping the recovery in the slow mode. If we want to get the economy pumping again, slow down the cost at the pump.

Do we need a New Health Care Bill

With all the talk of the Democrat's Health Care Reform bill and the Obama signature making it law, do we another health care bill.

In a word, yes. The health care bill in its present form is a terrible bill. The implications of this bill will not even be felt until after President Obama is out of office. The economical disaster that awaits us will be so wide spread that the Great Depression will look like a walk in the park.
The latest news to come out in the press is that the government is looking at value added Tax. This is a true economic killing Tax. This will hit the working class with a vengeance. The tax will be added on top of the already high taxes we pay at our local stores. We already pay, states sales tax, gasoline taxes and many local splost taxes (special local option sale tax).
If the government was truly serious about getting the economy back on track there is two things that they should do immediately.
1. Scrap the current health care reform bill
We need a bill that encourages competition from insurance companies, go to a looser pays lawsuit system (this would eliminate thousands of frivolous lawsuits each year helping to reduce insurance cost. We also need a system that allows a patient to get a second pinon on a medical issue, paid by insurance companies, that if both doctors are in agreement to the diagnoses, the insurance would be required to pay. We need to be able to purchase the type of insurance we need, without a one size fits all policy, if you don't pregnancy insurance because you don't need it, then why have to pay for it, the same for mental illness and other things are mandated.
 2. Replace the current income tax system with the fair tax. This is not a value added tax, but a replacement for the federal income tax, social security tax and each person would be paid their entire paycheck on payday. If you want more information on the fair tax click here.
The only way to dig ourselves out of the financial hole the country is in is to make the politician quit spending money the country doesn't have. As for creating revenue for the country, the fair tax is simple the best economic vehicle to jump start all aspects of the economic engine that runs this country.
Please let your congress people know that we can't afford this health care bill and that more taxes are not the answer.

Is health care going to kill our econonmy?

Depending on who you talk to, the answer could be a realistic yes. The cost of the health care reform estimates range from 1 to 3 trillion dollars over the first ten years of it being implemented. The cold hard truth is nothing is free. The government doesn't create income, only takes it from people and redistributes it as it see fit. The socialist form government that we are headed for will never work here. The American public is a free society and it will take years to change their minds. With government education leading the way, with revised history and it's social agenda, the next generation may be more prone to give up freedom in exchange for promised security. The health care reform bill is a door being opened into governments desire for more and more power. This will not surely turn out good for anyone, at least anyone that thinks that less government is better. The cost the government projects for any program is usually wrong by a margin of 10, so if they say 900 billion figure that number to be 9trillion in ten years. Look at what they have done to social security, medicare and medicaid, if these programs are any indication of what lies ahead, God help us.

I am so Sick Of TAX season

Ok, so I am self employed and I hate this time of year. I have to pay people to tell me how much I have to Pay the IRS. We need the fair tax, I need the fair tax, everyone needs the fair tax. Please help promote the fair tax. It would be the best help the economy and would relieve a lot of stress for everyone.
