Romney and Ryan will spell Victory for Obama

This is about right on track for the Republican party, lets blow the presidential race in a big way, not just give it away. The Paul Ryan pick will be the death nail for any chance to get Obama out of the white house.
The Democrats are licking their lips and the ad's are already in the works. They will be on the Florida televisions within just a few days. The first ad will be; Romney and Ryan plan to cut and gut your Medicare and Medicaid benefits, get ready to pay more so rich people like Romney and Ryan don't have tell their friends they are going to raise their taxes. If you don't want to be kicked out of the hospital and put on the streets, VOTE NO to the Romney Ryan cut and gut plan.

Does it matter that it is truthful? Did it matter that when they run the ad that claimed a man's wife died of cancer after Romney sold the company, seven years later? Since when did the truth matter to a politician trying to keep power?

You would think with unemployment at over 8% and gas at almost $4.00 a gallon, he wouldn't have a chance. But Obama will win in November 57 to 42 and 1 going to none of the above, mark it, count on it, place your bets.

South Carolina may Prove difficult for Romney

Romney may be the pick of the republican establishment but I think it's becoming more and more evident to most everyone that the public isn't in lockstep with them. With a win in Iowa and New Hampshire, you would think that no matter what, he would have a big advantage going into the South Carolina primary. But, according to latest polls, Romney and Newt are in a virtual tie for the lead, even though both are only polling in the mid to upper 20's.
Newt has always thought he would do better in the south, but his attacks on Romney seem to be working better than the talk show pundits thought it would. The talking heads, like Boortz, Hannity, Limbaugh and others said that Newt was going against capitalism, I think Newt was just showing what would happen to Romney if he got the nomination, and this is mild as to what the Obama democrat team will do to him.
If Romney can't stand up to the heat in South Carolina, how will he hold up to the heat nationwide? He has tried to explain what Bain Capitol did and try to say they created jobs, but when the democrats start rolling out the victims, explanations won't heal the heartbroken and disgruntled.
Charles krauthammer may have said it best on the show on Fox Special Report with Bret Baier when he said, "this is warning." Romeny will have to figure out some kind of defense, I don't think it's possible, but the fact that it is coming out so early may be the only thing that saves Romney.
If he does become the nominee and this comes out again in the summer or fall he can push it aside by just saying, "I've answered all these questions and you need to refer back to my answers," then brush it aside and go on.
But, South Carolina could be a spring board for stiffer competition in the south and Newt may be able to at least make some head way and show Romeny is not as invincible as the establishment thinks. He will have a hard time with the southern states for one more reason that the talking head refuse to admit. That the south just doesn't trust north eastern politicians.

Debate Tonight on Fox News

The Republican debate in Iowa tonight will be on Fox News at 9pm eastern time live. All the political news people will be watching and I'm sure that millions of other will be watching as well. Then there will be a lot people in Atlanta that will want to watch, but the Falcons will be on Thursday night football, and they may flip back and forth, depending on the status of the game.
This is building to be one of the best of the debates so far. Mitt Romney and Ron Paul have started on a concerted smear campaign against the current front polls leader, Newt Gingrich. The ad's have been relentless and full of have truths and comments on what Newt did in the past. They tend to have one thing in common, Newt has worked with democrats in the past or has changed his position on things over the years. I have a feeling that Newt will be well prepared for the attack tonight and will smile the whole time.
Ron Paul will probably do well in Iowa, his ground game is in tack and his followers are true devotes and will do more with less if need be. The problem will be if he starts to get attacked during the debate to keep smiling and not become a grumpy old man.
Mitt Romney has to keep his cool as well, no more betting on the truth. Don't let the lies and attacks get to him, don't touch your opponents, don't Rick Perry get to him like he's done in the past. I don't know what it is, but something just comes off that Rick Perry and Mitt Romney just don't like each other.
Will the fireworks fly tonight? A lot of political junkies can't wait to see what happens. All day long the talk show will do their predictions of who will win, who will gaff and who has the most to loose. So far all the pundits have been wrong about who would be leading the polls at this point, the establishment in the republican party has been fighting tooth and nail for Romney and it hasn't worked, so what's next.
Dick Morris will be tweeting, Neil Boortz national talk radio host will be like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, talking about it all day today and all day tomorrow as well. Pay attention to see if any of them call it like it is, so far most have missed the mark. Some will say they will pull for who ever is against President Obama, except I think if Ron Paul somehow get's out front, they might even try to get Donald Trump to run. Most have already declared Ron Paul, to far out there for the Republican party when it comes to foreign affairs. There may be one problem with that sentiment, if they disrespect him, he might just run as an independent and pull a Ross on them, which will pretty much assure that Obama wins.

Ok, the way I see it, is that most middle class working Americans want someone who will just tell them the truth and stand up for what they believe in. That's why Herman Cain took off so quick, that's why Newt Gingrich has been doing so well since Cain dropped out. I think most people are a little wary of the Northeast politician, Mitt Romney has never been able to get out of the 20's in the polls. I don't think we really know who will be ahead by April, all I know is who ever it is, be prepared for the most brutal attacks by Democrats that you have ever seen, with nearly a billion dollars to spend, it will be something to see. Nancy Pelosi started a little early when she threatened Newt, but that was just a taste of what's yet to come.
Tonight's debate on Fox News from Iowa will be followed by endless commentary, but the ultimately it will come down to the people, not the pundits and talk show host.

I can't wait.

Herman Cain Drops out of Race

Herman Cain announced yesterday that he was suspending his campaign for president. Though he did not come right and say it's over, read between the lines and you can pretty much say he's done.
With the allegations of sexual improprieties, his support has been slipping since the first accusations were made. It is alleged that the latest report of the 13 year, on again, off again affair was the straw that finally broke the back of the campaign.
He came home to Atlanta to supposedly talk to his family, more than likely to try to save what was left of his marriage. He admitted that he had helped the woman in question financially, but never told his wife about the arrangement. He has continued to say that there was never any sexual part to the relationship, however the woman insist that there was.
Most all the accusations about Mr. Cain seems to stem from his time with the National Restaurant Association, a three year period out of a career that spanned over 40 years. The one thing that never made much sense about this whole situation was that fact. But, with this latest accusation, the affair went on over much of the time he was living here in Atlanta and communication was right up till just recently. This time would also include his battle with cancer, where as a survivor myself, you need all the support you can get, plus his time as a WSB radio talk host and during his time as a fill in host for Neil Boortz. From all accounts, this seemed so much out of character for Mr. Cain, that a lot personal friends seemed to have a hard time accepting that he could have done what he had been accused of.
The announcement made on Saturday, pretty much seals the deal for Herman. Though he said he is just suspending his effort, he can pack it in for good. Once you have started on a downhill slide and it's this close to New Hampshire and Iowa, your done. The support he had from the Tea party has been taken by Newt Gingrich and it looks like the battle will come down between Newt and Romney.
Good luck to Herman Cain, I think his family will need a lot of healing after all this, I wish him the best in the future.

The Super Commity failure is a win for Democrats

The super committee has now given up on it's assignment to cut the budget and figure out a way to balance the budget. Instead what we get is a microcosm view of what the true problem of our government really is, broken.

There is no more compromise in our government. The sides are so far apart ideally, there is virtually no way they will ever agree to do anything. The democrats in the senate and congress have drifted so far to the socialist liberal left that they will never agree to anything that reduces the size of government. The true colors of the democrats are being exposed more and more with everyday that passes and with the President leading the agenda they have no reason to change.

The republicans are defined by the press as obstructionist, while the democrats and Obama are said to be trying to accomplish the work of the people. But, looking back at the one major bill that they did pass, the Health care reform bill, it was so unpopular that most of the members that voted for it were voted out of office in the 2010 mid-term elections.

Now with the failure of the so called, Super Committee, tax increases and military spending cuts will take place in January 2013. The president has already stated that he would veto any bill that would counter act this automatic adjustment. In other words, he will get what he wanted last year in the budget bill that was defeated. The 600billion dollar military cut will be largest cut in our military budget in the history of our country and could under mind the effectiveness peace thru strength.

The other part of the bill, the tax increases, were fought over last year, know as the Bush tax cuts, the democrats wanted these tax cuts expires last year, but lost the fight. Now, the President will get what he wanted thru the back door efforts of the failure of the Super Committee. I don't know if just me, but it seems like the democrats on the committee knew all along what they were doing and never had any intentions of working with the republicans. If they had been able to accomplish anything, that could be detrimental to Obama's agenda of raising taxes and cutting the defense budget.

If you doubt what I'm saying maybe you should do so investigating on your own. Maybe you should go back and see that the republicans made several attempts to negotiate, but the because they would allow any new taxes the democrats would just walk away. The one thing that was the sticking point, tax increases, more money for the government to spend when they are wasting more and more money every day.

So the Super Committee turned into a Super Failure, at least for the American public and looks like a Super Win for the Democrats. Able to get another bill passed thru the back door, another reminder of the famous words of Nancy Pelosi, “You have to Pass the bill to find out what in it.” The failure of the Super Committee it just another way of hiding from the public the stakes of the game until the game was over. How many people can remember hearing all these things, tax increases, military budget cuts and the other parts of the automatic things to happen before it shut down?

Thank you democrats.

The Nonsense never stops from the liberals

The nonsense of the liberal mind never ceases to amaze me. With the shooting in Arizona just the latest example of the the fear mongering that they promote. Blaming it on the TEA Party, on talk radio and Fox News for the actions of a delusional mad man.

I wonder sometimes if fear is the only thing that they have left at this point. After loosing the election this past November, and loosing control of the house of representatives they act like it was just a misunderstanding. I truly believe sometimes that they think the American public are just a bunch of idiots that don't know what's good for them. They fail to accept the fact that the people voted them out for their policies.

Obama seems to moving closer to the center and the congress moving closer to the left. Will this mean that when the 2012 elections come around will they still endorse him. Probably.

If the republicans in the house continue to promote ideas that will actually help the economy and try to get rid of the Democrat health care bill the only chance they will have is promoting fear. Labeling the TEA Party as extremist as they did before. Will it work this time? As for me, I don't think so. I look for more of the same desperate behavior from the left in the future with help from the main steam media to sell their fear. I wait for the next big news story that they can use to compare the right with Nazi's as has happened already.
We wait and see.

Will The Elections Really Get Us What We Want

Ok, here we are just a few days away from election day. The common consensus is that the Republicans will gain control of congress and a slim chance at the senate. If the GOP does regain control of the congress, what will it really mean. Nothing, unless we stay as active after the election as we have been during the run up to it. The problem is most people will think, "oh boy! we won!" and just think that the people that we elected will do what we elected them to do.
What will happen if we don't watch them closely, is that will get sucked into the Washington power play and forget what got them there. Like in the past, they will talk loud at first about what they are going to do, then give in to compromise and never accomplish what they were sent there for. Like in the past they will think if they don't go along with the opposition party that somehow people will think that they are obstructing the congress's work. They will waffle back and forth, say we really we wanted to do something, please if we just had more power we could do it right. They will continue to ask you to give them a second chance, just as  the democrats are doing right now.
So, remember just because if the GOP wins next week, doesn't mean the fight is over. We must continue to apply pressure to our elected officials to the results we want. We must not back off, we must not be mislead by slick talking politicians telling us that "we had to do it that way" when they shove the next big program down our throat, like Obama, Reid and Pelosi did with the Health Care Bill.
A lot of hard decisions lie ahead for the new congress and they must make the right choice for our future, our kids future and the freedom that this great country was founded on.
Keep your voices loud and demand from the congress that they listen to us this time.

The Tale of Two Women, Palin vs Michelle Obama

By, Alaskan Fisherman.

As posted in comments on Greta's article referencing the MOVEON ad about Sarah Palin.

The last 45 of my 66 years I’ve spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska. I understand Alaska politics but never understood national politics well until this last year.  Here's the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it.   It's not about persona, style, rhetoric, it's about doing things.   Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I'm about to mention here.

1. Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the Governor's office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican's "Corrupt Bastards Club” (CBC) and sent them packing.  Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits.  The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, "la la la la" (well, you know how they are).  Name another governor in this country that has ever done anything similar.

2.  Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here.  So she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called "ACES."   Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, "don't let the door hit you in the stern on your way out."  They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich.  Of course, the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line.  Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar.

3. The other thing she did when she walked into the governor's office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as "pork."  She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the "when-hell-freezes-over” stack.  She let locals know that if we need something built, we'll pay  for it ourselves.  Maybe she figured she could use the money she  got from selling the previous governor's jet because it was extravagant.  Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor's  cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the  State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and  dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning - I imagine  - that she's packing heat herself).  I'm still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.

4. Now, even with her much-ridiculed  "gosh and golly" mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new  approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest  private construction project in the history of North America .  No one else could do it although they tried.  If that doesn't impress you, then you're trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand.

5. For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson.  They made excuses the entire time why they couldn't start drilling.  In truth they were holding it like an investment.  No governor for 30 years could make them get started.  Then, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out.  They protested and threatened court action.   She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house.  Alaska won again.

6. President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for electricity by 2025.  Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% renewable by 2025.  We are already at 25%.  I can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and persona.   Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, and look cool.  But that's just a cover-up.
I'm still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other governors who can match what
mine has done in two and a half years.  I won’t be holding my breath.

By the way, she was content to return to AK after the national election and go to work, but the haters wouldn't let her.  Now these adolescent screechers are obviously not scuba divers.  And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a barracuda.  Without warning, it will spin around
and tear your face off.  Shoulda known better.

You have just read the truth about Sarah Palin that sends the media, along with the democrat party, into a wild uncontrolled frenzy to discredit her.  I guess they are only interested in skirt chasers, dishonesty, immoral people, liars, womanizers, murderers and bitter ex presidents' wives.

So "You go, Girl."  I only wish the men in Washington had your guts, determination, honesty, and morals.
I rest my case.   Only FOOLS listen to the biased media.

If you've read this far  ......... now open your eyes..........

The Rally Cry for America, Take Back Our Government

I watched some of the Glenn Beck rally and was amazed to see the diversity of the crowd. There were people form every state, color and creed. Now, I begin to wonder if this is really the dawning of a new era in American politics?
Though billed as a non political event, you can't help but wonder how the incumbents in office right now felt with such a mass of people there only a few miles from the White House. I don't know if anyone in office is safe right now, Republican or Democrat. They both have took it upon themselves to work for the government and not the people for so long, I doubt that any of them could give up their political standing to change the game.
The real problem with government is not so much the people we elect as it is the power brokers in charge once they get there. It seems that with every new face that walks into the halls of the congress or senate, once there they are converted to representatives of the government and not the people.
Bills that are passed are so complicated in their speech that most people in congress can't even understand what in them, even though they vote for them. The health care bill is a prime example of this, when you ask a congress person if they know whats in it, they can only point out the parts that are suppose to make you feel better about it. They don't have a clue as to what is really in the bill and how could they? The bill is so big and massive that even the people who wrote the bill only know parts of it.
The rally cry for America should be to get government back on the side of the people. People have lost sight of the fact the founders said, "by the people, for the people". More and more it seems that its "by the government for the government." The people have truly lost their voice in the way the country is run.
We protest about illegal immigration and told we are racist. We protest about high taxes and told we have to pay our fair share, while billions of dollars go to support countries over seas. We complain about the way the health care bill was passed and told by Nancy Pelosi, "we have to pass it to find out whats in it." And when it was shoved through with out the peoples support, they smile and laugh as if to say, we are the government and we win!
We have to take our government back. We need people in Washington that are regular people and not lawyers and career politicians. The time is now to stand up and take back America.what kind of government are we suppose to have?  The sad fact is not enough people even know anymore. The schools have brainwashed our kids to believing that we are a Democracy, in its simplest form it means that 51% of the people can control the other 49%.
Have faith in the power of the people who will stand up for whats right. Don't let the doom and gloom crowd dictate your views on how things will never change. Things can change, we can take control if we all stand together on common ground and fight for what we believe in. This should be the Rally Cry for ALL Americans, WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK!

The Time for Action is Now

Some one has to step forward and put an end to the political warfare. The left argues with the right, the right argues with the left and the people are left somewhere in between. Spending is out of control and there is no end in sight. The political class will never do what is necessary to curb this. They are dependent on special interest to meet their desires of life long political power.
What we need is some independent thinkers that are not subjected to the whims of the political parties, left or right. We need business men and women that know what a true budget is, how to control one and willing to make the cuts no matter who it pisses off. People that have no interest in being in politics for the rest of their lives and go to DC to serve the people.
We need people that can say to the IRS, "Your time is done." Get rid of the 8000plus pages of tax codes, take the power from the IRS that only they have; your guilty until proven innocent. The IRS has the right to seize your bank account, put you in prison and deprive you of liberty and justice. If the IRS is proven wrong, they have no legal obligation to reimburse you for the time and money spent to prove it. It is a powerful system that is way to over due to be disbanded and free the American people from it's grip on society.
I don't care what we go to, the FairTax would be the best alternative, at least everyone pays, drug dealers, illegals and those out there that hide income. I would even go along with a FlatTax if I thought it could be done without still having to file papers with IRS. At least the FairTax would eliminate that part. No April the 15th to worry about anymore.
I am a small businessman that averages 8hrs a month dealing with the paperwork, and another 40hrs at the end of the year filing papers with my CPA. I have to pay a CPA to tell me how much I have to pay the IRS. What sense on any level does that make?
The only way we are going to get rid of the IRS is to get rid of the life long political class in Washington and replace them with people that have a brain and a heart. People truly dedicated to fixing the government, not just following the parties desires to keep the special interest satisfied.
Your opinions are welcome.

Are all politician corrupt?

Are the politicians in DC corrupt? What ever happened to honesty and integrity? It seems like every day we read of another scandal in Washington and it doesn't apply to just one party.
I really think that there are probably some pretty good people in government, but they are the ones that you never hear about. The ones that are really trying to do good things that protect the American public are the silent ones in the background that never get any press. They go to DC to find out that its not easy to compete with the Pelosi, Reid, and radical left for change in government that will actually help the people, not burden them.
It seems that the political class that begs for TV coverage, is out there to promote their agenda with half truths and sometimes out right lies. When called out on these misleading statements that resort to name calling and trying anything they can to avoid answering the question.
I don't care which side of the political isle you are on, we the people, just want our elected representatives to be honest with us. If they would just give us the facts and not what they think we want to hear, we could decide for ourselves weather to favor or not a piece of legislation.
As in the Health Care Bill we have be mislead by both sides, the left lies about the cost and other portions of the bill that are just now coming to light. The right refuses to admit there are probably some good thing in the bill as well. It seems that no matter what, it is all just designed to keep the same people in power.
The corrupt politician will seek the spotlight to call attention to themselves in order to spread their word to the naive and the ignorant among us. They depend on the willing of the people to take what they say at face value, without question and the ability to think for themselves.
The problems lies in the fact there is no way to remove these politician other than the ballot box and as long as the people that follow them like sheep, continue to vote for the same people the same people will remain.
We have to educate people to the truth, before we can eliminate the corrupt political climate that exist in today's politics.
We need real people in DC, not career politicians. Once the average man has a voice in DC the climate may change, but until then, special interest and idealist will control the lives of all.

The list of Democrats that voted against Health Care Reform Bill

The following is a list of the Democrats that voted against the health care bill. These people have become targets of the left seeking to get them out of office. Though, many voted for different reason, the left is upset because of the fact that they didn't go along with the Obama, Pelosi plan. Never mind that some failed to support it because it didn't go far enough in their eyes. Many on this list would not support the bill because it lacked the so called public option, the entire take over of health care by the government. The fact remains, if they went against the wishes of Obama they need to be thrown out of office. This just goes to show you that, not only is the Republicans and the Tea Party in the sights of the liberal left, but anyone who fails to go along with the Obama agenda is fair game. These names came from a far left website, I won't mention the name, I refuse to give them any free advertisement.

Taxes and everything I hate about it

I don't mind paying my so called, fair share, but this is stupid. It takes over 40hrs of work, which I don't get paid for. Two business partners, one CPA and tons of paperwork to comply with nonsense. And this is just for one of the companies that I own or in partnership with. Why can't we have a Fair and Just tax system, that everyone could understand. Support the Fair Tax at fairtax.org and get rid of all these headaches.

your own worst enemy

Do you keep up with politics? Are you blaming the government for your place in life? Are you your own worst enemy? Have you ever pondered that question? Remarkably many people don't. There are times for self examination and self determination.

You can read an article I wrote on this subject by going to following link.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this. Am I way off base? Or do you know someone like this?
Funny how things tend to be the same all over the world. I think it would be wise to let others to explore this subject, no matter how painful.
