The president and the speaker continue to battle over the debt limit increase, time to work something out is now. The speaker is wanting any increase in spending tied to budget cuts and the president and the democrats are still pushing for tax increases.
Funny, during the campaing seems that the candiate Obama wasn't quite as vocal about rasing taxes but the president can't seem to find a way to quit spending so now he needs more money. The democrats thirst for the American dollar seem to grow more daily. If the president was really more interested in the middle class and the poor he would realize that every time you tax the people that create jobs and wealth the less you help the job prospects.
The speaker of the house, John (I'm not caving in) Boehner, seems to have the support of the majority of Americans right now, with the, don't spend what you don't have approach. It seems pretty simple, if you are going to spend money, don't borrow what you don't have, when the whole argument right now is that we have so much debt that we have to increase the limit just to allow for interest payments.
Stay tuned, we need leadership and statemanship, not a spending junkie looking for his next fix.

Weiner of the year
Why won't politicians just tell the truth up front. It seems that it would be a lot easier to get past a lot of the scandals, if they would just say,"I did it, I don't care what you think, next question?" The part that seems to get them all in trouble is the lying about what they did, rather that the fact of what they did.
Anthony Weiner is just one of a long list of politicians that have thought they were above telling what really what really happened. They start off with excuses, then flat out lies and finally when the heat gets really hot they tell the truth. Now there are calls for his resignation, I can't say that I blame the people doing it. If he would just have told the truth there would be no need to resign, after all he is a grown man and the woman invovled was a grown woman, not some teenage bimbo.
The reason now for resignation is the fact that he lied, if he would lie about something this simple and stupid, how can you trust him with other thing that really matter? This is the crux of the problem, not what he did, but what he hid?
This is just another example of elected officials thinking that they are better than the rest of us and shouldn't be held to the same standards that they set for the rest of us. I don't see things changing anytime soon!
They lie to us about taxes, ablity to do anything about oil prices, or just about anything else. Social Security and Medicare will be bankrupt soon and they will lie about how to fix and just who messed it up to begin with. The Sexting scandal just takes away from the serious issues at hand, it almost like that they would rather us talk about Weiner than any of the real issues at hand.
If the economy doesn't turn around pretty soon, consumer confidence in what the administration is doing will slip so deep that nothing will save Obama.
We are grown ups here, just tell us the truth.

Mid East response to Osama's Death
From the news reports that I have seen, there doesn't appear the type of street uprising's that we in the US have become accustom to every time something happens that involves the US.
Also, the most vocal of the middle eastern countries to the killing of Bin Laden appears to be Pakistan. The Pakistan government is saying that they should have been involved in the process to to capture or kill Bin Laden. To the Pakistan government I say, "too fricken bad."
From previous reports it appears that there are leaks from inside the Pakistan government to Bin Laden sympathisers. According to some sources that previous attempts to track Bin Laden have failed due to leaks from confidential sorces. There are several government officials in side the US that still have a hard time comprehending that the Pakistan government didn't know where Osama was; considering the fact that the compound was within 800 feet of a military installation.
CIA and other intel agencies are watching for increased chatter on known terrorist networks for increased threats. As of now, or as what is being released, there are no known reliable source threats for retaliation.

The Governmet Can Stop Rising Gas Prices
Don't think the government can't do anything about rising gas and desiel prices? Read this link click here for facts that the press doesn't tell you.
The state and federal government could reduce gas prices 30 to 70 cents a gallon depending on the state tax, by suspending the gas tax while we open oil leases.
There is oil across the Dakota's and Canada that could supply the US with billions of gallons of oil, that could send the oil speculators in the other direction.

There is oil across the Dakota's and Canada that could supply the US with billions of gallons of oil, that could send the oil speculators in the other direction.
A step to reduce gas prices would be open exploration to all oil companies in the American mid west and Alaska. The Bakken Oil shale that extend from Canada to North Dakota and Montana this find alone could yield close to 4 billion barrels of oil. This is find to second to the over 10 billion gallons of oil that could be in ANWAR Alaska. The deepwater gulf and coastal exploration should be opened to tap into the billions of gallons of oil off each cost. Off the Atlantic cost alone there is over 7 billions of conventionally recoverable oil.
If we were to start building refineries within ten miles of both coast of the United States and we were to start opening up all drilling areas, the speculators would drive the cost down. We could actually gas prices below $1.25 by fall and OPEC would be forced to lower prices to compete. Production levels would increase automatically in the mid east, just to keep up with production from the well the US has that are uncapped and put into service within 60 days. In 24 months we could have oil flowing that make up 90 percent of the needs of oil in the US. This would also create high paying jobs in the construction industry while waiting to reduce our energy need from over seas.
With cars getting better and better fuel milage every year the billions of barrels of oil here in the US will stretch even more in the future.
Please read the link above to find out more on this subject and see the other articles on this blog to find out how much oil we could find in the mid west.

Gas Prices To Kill the Economy
As it is right now, gas in the metro Atlanta area is hovering around $3.40 a gallon, with more increases on the way. There is no oil shortage, you can buy all you want at this price.
This is the way it all started three years ago, gas prices went up, spending on non essential items went down and business's started to suffer. The housing bust started at the same time, coincidence? I don't think so. I wrote about this very thing back then and people said I was imaging things. I said,"when gas hits $4.00 a gallon, the construction business is doomed and people will give up on mortgages that they can't afford anymore." Guess what? It happened just like I said it would.
The construction business hasn't recovered yet, unemployment in Georgia is still over 10%, and the glut of foreclosures hasn't went down. Nationally the press reports the unemployment rate at the present time of about 8.9%, however, this is misleading and the number is really bogus. They fail to take into account the number of people who have just given up looking due to fact that the job market is failing them. They also fail to recognize the formally self employed people that have lost their companies and are not eligible to file for unemployment benefits. You also have another segment of the population, the underemployed, people working two and three jobs just to make ends meat. If you take these people into account on a nationwide basis the number for the unemployment rate will be somewhere closer to 15 to 18%, which means that about 2 out of every 10 people right now are struggling to survive.
Gas prices are going to cause another prolonged recession to be even longer. The price at the pump will translate again to less spending on other products, just as it did in the past. The service station cashiers that I have talked to locally have already seen it happening again. People are paying just for gas and not coming in to purchase other goods. At a local BP station in Dawsonville, Georgia, Sam said,"in the past two weeks she has seen a 35% fall off of customer purchases for other than fuel. The only thing that has increased is Lottery ticket sales." This means as customers get more and more desperate, they are willing to take a chance on the lottery as a saving grace. No matter how stupid that sounds, people in desperate times takes desperate measures.
The Federal government seems to have no clue as to what is happening. They rich and the powerful in DC don't realize what is happening to the general public and the true effect this having on the lives of many. They will continue to ride around in their private jets, limos and SUV's will the tax payers foot the bill for all of them. They don't seem to understand that that just like before, gas can be a budget buster for a lot of working people across the US.
Will we see $4.00 gallon gas in the next few weeks? If we do, watch to see what happens to restaurants and other local stores. Revenues will go down, just like before, people will loose jobs again and the unemployment rate will hit all time new highs. Then as people loose their jobs, mortgages will begin to fail again, just as before.
What can we do about it? Not much in the short term. We have more oil in the mid west United States that all of Saudi Arabia, but the environmentalist won't let us get it. We don't have any new refineries and haven't built any in over 20years, environmentalist again. We have capped well heads in the mid west that the government pays to keep capped, whats that all about? We have national oil reserves that we don't touch like it couldn't be replaced, that's a bogus argument.
Read my article "More Oil in Mid west" that will give you plenty of facts and then when you are spending $100 dollars to fill your tank, ask yourself, "do they even care at all about us?"

The Nonsense never stops from the liberals
The nonsense of the liberal mind never ceases to amaze me. With the shooting in Arizona just the latest example of the the fear mongering that they promote. Blaming it on the TEA Party, on talk radio and Fox News for the actions of a delusional mad man.
I wonder sometimes if fear is the only thing that they have left at this point. After loosing the election this past November, and loosing control of the house of representatives they act like it was just a misunderstanding. I truly believe sometimes that they think the American public are just a bunch of idiots that don't know what's good for them. They fail to accept the fact that the people voted them out for their policies.
Obama seems to moving closer to the center and the congress moving closer to the left. Will this mean that when the 2012 elections come around will they still endorse him. Probably.
If the republicans in the house continue to promote ideas that will actually help the economy and try to get rid of the Democrat health care bill the only chance they will have is promoting fear. Labeling the TEA Party as extremist as they did before. Will it work this time? As for me, I don't think so. I look for more of the same desperate behavior from the left in the future with help from the main steam media to sell their fear. I wait for the next big news story that they can use to compare the right with Nazi's as has happened already.
We wait and see.

Will The Elections Really Get Us What We Want
Ok, here we are just a few days away from election day. The common consensus is that the Republicans will gain control of congress and a slim chance at the senate. If the GOP does regain control of the congress, what will it really mean. Nothing, unless we stay as active after the election as we have been during the run up to it. The problem is most people will think, "oh boy! we won!" and just think that the people that we elected will do what we elected them to do.
What will happen if we don't watch them closely, is that will get sucked into the Washington power play and forget what got them there. Like in the past, they will talk loud at first about what they are going to do, then give in to compromise and never accomplish what they were sent there for. Like in the past they will think if they don't go along with the opposition party that somehow people will think that they are obstructing the congress's work. They will waffle back and forth, say we really we wanted to do something, please if we just had more power we could do it right. They will continue to ask you to give them a second chance, just as the democrats are doing right now.
So, remember just because if the GOP wins next week, doesn't mean the fight is over. We must continue to apply pressure to our elected officials to the results we want. We must not back off, we must not be mislead by slick talking politicians telling us that "we had to do it that way" when they shove the next big program down our throat, like Obama, Reid and Pelosi did with the Health Care Bill.
A lot of hard decisions lie ahead for the new congress and they must make the right choice for our future, our kids future and the freedom that this great country was founded on.
Keep your voices loud and demand from the congress that they listen to us this time.

More Obama Heath Care Revealed
Many of you have read the hidden details in the Obama Health care bill, when it starts happening in your life or someone you love, you wish had payed attention. The following is an excerpt from an email that I received that I thought was very telling. Try putting your self or your parent in this situation and see just how you would feel. Also, remember the President saying that the Health Care bill was endorsed by the AMA, read the facts.
I asked him why the AMA had recently endorsed the plan. He replied that only about 15% of the nation's doctors were members of AMA, and most of them were not really on the front lines of doctor hood but in some other areas of medicine. He said he was a member, but would not be after this membership year.
This man got part of his training in London, and practiced in Canada for 16 years before coming to the US, and he has no use for socialized medicine, regardless of how you wrap it, or what kind of bow to put on it. He said that we have a shortfall of around 400,000 doctors at the present time, and many of today's doctors are of the baby boomer generation who are nearing retirement and/or will decide to hang it up rather than deal with the results this is sure to bring.
Scary, my friends. The picture for our age group is not pretty in obama land.SENIOR DEATH WARRANTS:
In England no one over 59 can receive heart repairs or stents or bypass because it is not covered as being too expensive and not needed.
Obama wants to have a healthcare system just like Canada's and England's.
I got this today and am sending it on. If Obama's plans in other areas don't scare you, this should. Please do not let Obama sign senior death warrants.
Everybody that is on this mailing list is either a senior citizen, is getting close or knows somebody that is.
Most of you know by now that the Senate version (at least) of the "stimulus" bill includes provisions for extensive rationing of health care for senior citizens. The author of this part of the bill, former senator and tax evader, Tom Daschle was credited today by Bloomberg with the following statement:
Bloomberg: Daschle says "health-care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them."
If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that our esteemed Senators and Congressmen have their own health care plan that is first dollar or very low co-pay which they are guaranteed for the remainder of their lives. Nor are they subject to this new law if it passes.
Please use the power of the Internet to get this message out. Talk it up at the grassroots level. We have an election coming up in less than a year. And we have the ability to address and reverse the dangerous direction the Obama administration and its allies have begun and in the interim, we can make their lives miserable. Let's do this!
If you disagree, do nothing
Diagnosed with cancer last year. See what his doctor is saying....
Wednesday, I was at the doctor whom I have been going to since we moved down here (he is the one who discovered my cancer). I have to get a very expensive shot every 3 months ($3000) that is designed to keep the PSA down and help to prevent a recurrence of the cancer. Has some uncomfortable side effects, and I was questioning the need to continue with it, which he assured me was necessary. He then asked how old I was, and when I replied 70, he said that if this legislation goes through as intended by the powers that be, that I probably would not be able to get it next year, as that would be money better spent on someone else with greater longevity. I would be referred to someone to "counsel" me.I asked him why the AMA had recently endorsed the plan. He replied that only about 15% of the nation's doctors were members of AMA, and most of them were not really on the front lines of doctor hood but in some other areas of medicine. The Tale of Two Women, Palin vs Michelle Obama
By, Alaskan Fisherman.
As posted in comments on Greta's article referencing the MOVEON ad about Sarah Palin.
The last 45 of my 66 years I’ve spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska. I understand Alaska politics but never understood national politics well until this last year. Here's the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it. It's not about persona, style, rhetoric, it's about doing things. Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I'm about to mention here.
1. Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the Governor's office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican's "Corrupt Bastards Club” (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits. The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, "la la la la" (well, you know how they are). Name another governor in this country that has ever done anything similar.
2. Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here. So she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called "ACES." Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, "don't let the door hit you in the stern on your way out." They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course, the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar.
3. The other thing she did when she walked into the governor's office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as "pork." She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the "when-hell-freezes-over” stack. She let locals know that if we need something built, we'll pay for it ourselves. Maybe she figured she could use the money she got from selling the previous governor's jet because it was extravagant. Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor's cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning - I imagine - that she's packing heat herself). I'm still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.
4. Now, even with her much-ridiculed "gosh and golly" mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest private construction project in the history of North America . No one else could do it although they tried. If that doesn't impress you, then you're trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand.
5. For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson. They made excuses the entire time why they couldn't start drilling. In truth they were holding it like an investment. No governor for 30 years could make them get started. Then, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out. They protested and threatened court action. She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house. Alaska won again.
6. President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for electricity by 2025. Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% renewable by 2025. We are already at 25%. I can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and persona. Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, and look cool. But that's just a cover-up.

She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the "when-hell-freezes-over” stack.
I'm still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other governors who can match what
mine has done in two and a half years. I won’t be holding my breath.
By the way, she was content to return to AK after the national election and go to work, but the haters wouldn't let her. Now these adolescent screechers are obviously not scuba divers. And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a barracuda. Without warning, it will spin around
and tear your face off. Shoulda known better.
You have just read the truth about Sarah Palin that sends the media, along with the democrat party, into a wild uncontrolled frenzy to discredit her. I guess they are only interested in skirt chasers, dishonesty, immoral people, liars, womanizers, murderers and bitter ex presidents' wives.
So "You go, Girl." I only wish the men in Washington had your guts, determination, honesty, and morals.
I rest my case. Only FOOLS listen to the biased media.

(This is community organizing at its finest.) There has NEVER been anyone in the White House at any time who has created such an army of staffers whose sole duties are the facilitation of the First Lady's social life. One wonders why she needs so much help, at taxpayer expense, when even Hillary, only had three; Jackie Kennedy one; Laura Bush one; and prior to Mamie Eisenhower social help came from the President's own pocket.
Note: This does not include makeup artist Ingrid Grimes-Miles, 49, and "First Hairstylist" Johnny Wright, 31, both of whom traveled aboard Air Force One to Europe .

Democrats fail to extend Tax Cuts
Democrats fail to extend Bush era tax cuts before leaving to go back home. The big news from the mainstream media, seems to be that Obama wanted them only for the middle class. The problem is, however, that the middle class for the most part doesn't create jobs. With unemployment still around 10% nationwide, creation of jobs is what the middle class seems to want more than anything.
The Democrats will try to blame the Republicans if nothing gets done by January 2011, but, they will fail to mention that they had control of both houses and failed to extend the cuts. The truth is that over 30 democrats signed a letter to the house speaker, Nancy Pelosi, they wouldn't support any legislation that raised taxes on anyone. I have yet to hear any of the media ask President Obama about the lack of support from members of his own party.
The sad fact is, they are trying the same old game of class envy to advance their political agenda. This year, it is coming at the expense of the unemployed.
They think that the public is some how going to believe that things will get better if we just give it more time and give them more money to spend. The fact is the only thing getting better is the hope of finding a job working for the government. If you look at the facts, the public sector is growing faster than the private sectors. There is an inherent problem with this, it takes private sector money to support the public sector jobs. The government doesn't create wealth, wealth comes from the private companies. When the government adds jobs, it must collect more money to pay it's employees.
This gets me back to the tax cut extensions. There is trillions of dollars sitting on the sidelines of private business. Right now, the uncertainty of the what the future may bring, has many business men sitting on their reserve cash looking for clear answers as to what future cost are going to be.
With possible tax increases coming in January 2011, the unclear cost of what the Democrats Health Care plan will do to the bottom line, it is no wonder that every one is on the sidelines.
I have talked to several business owners, the main theme seems to be, "just tell me what it's going to cost! If I have a number to project future expenses, I can plan accordingly." With no way to tell what is going to happen, most business people are unwilling to take a chance that thing will actually be any better in the near future. If the Bush era taxes are not extended, that may mean possible more job cuts, rather than new hires according to most people I talked to. They say, "If my expenses to pay for health care go up due to the new Obama plan and taxes go up as well, we will be forced to cut staff. If we are not making more money in this economic environment, we simply can't afford the added cost." This will in turn, ad to the already high unemployment numbers and we could face a year in 2011 far worse than the past two.
So, if you are working for a small or mid-sized company, it may be in your best interest to contact your local representative and pass along your feeling about whats going on in congress. The Democrats controlled both houses and the Presidency, and could have done something, if they had wanted too. The elections are coming closer, it is up to you to decide if they have worked for you or themselves. Maybe, it's time to take the credit card away from these people and make them start looking at the bottom line. The bottom line? IT'S OUR MONEY NOT THEIRS! The more they take, the less we have, they can't give something that they don't first take.CQ's Politics in America 2010: The 111th Congress
this book covers all of the votes, how your member of congress voted and what happened in congress. Find the truth, don't let them lie and say I did or didn't vote for something.

New anti Porn program
Are you a concerned parent worried about what your child or teen may find on the internet? I have found a solution Porn Blocker. This program is wonderful. I have a 15 year old son and 16 year old niece that lives with us, and I have installed it on all computers in the house. This way when mom and dad are not home or they are in their room alone, we have peace of mind that they won't go to places that they shouldn't.
Like I said, if you are a concerned parent then this is must. Also, don't forget that if your child does visit a porn site, most down load tracking cookies and malware. This is another reason to block porn from all your computers. Remember, you can't look over their shoulders all the time, so take this step to give you total peace of mind.

The Rally Cry for America, Take Back Our Government
I watched some of the Glenn Beck rally and was amazed to see the diversity of the crowd. There were people form every state, color and creed. Now, I begin to wonder if this is really the dawning of a new era in American politics?
Though billed as a non political event, you can't help but wonder how the incumbents in office right now felt with such a mass of people there only a few miles from the White House. I don't know if anyone in office is safe right now, Republican or Democrat. They both have took it upon themselves to work for the government and not the people for so long, I doubt that any of them could give up their political standing to change the game.
The real problem with government is not so much the people we elect as it is the power brokers in charge once they get there. It seems that with every new face that walks into the halls of the congress or senate, once there they are converted to representatives of the government and not the people.
Bills that are passed are so complicated in their speech that most people in congress can't even understand what in them, even though they vote for them. The health care bill is a prime example of this, when you ask a congress person if they know whats in it, they can only point out the parts that are suppose to make you feel better about it. They don't have a clue as to what is really in the bill and how could they? The bill is so big and massive that even the people who wrote the bill only know parts of it.
The rally cry for America should be to get government back on the side of the people. People have lost sight of the fact the founders said, "by the people, for the people". More and more it seems that its "by the government for the government." The people have truly lost their voice in the way the country is run.
We protest about illegal immigration and told we are racist. We protest about high taxes and told we have to pay our fair share, while billions of dollars go to support countries over seas. We complain about the way the health care bill was passed and told by Nancy Pelosi, "we have to pass it to find out whats in it." And when it was shoved through with out the peoples support, they smile and laugh as if to say, we are the government and we win!
We have to take our government back. We need people in Washington that are regular people and not lawyers and career politicians. The time is now to stand up and take back America.what kind of government are we suppose to have? The sad fact is not enough people even know anymore. The schools have brainwashed our kids to believing that we are a Democracy, in its simplest form it means that 51% of the people can control the other 49%.
Have faith in the power of the people who will stand up for whats right. Don't let the doom and gloom crowd dictate your views on how things will never change. Things can change, we can take control if we all stand together on common ground and fight for what we believe in. This should be the Rally Cry for ALL Americans, WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK!

What to make of the Democrats chances to retain power
The Democrats will have a hard time retaining power in the November elections if things continue as is. The economy has not recovered, spending is out of control and people are not spending money. The one thing that will really hurt them is the fact that most people just don't believe them anymore.
The promise of if the stimulus package passes, the unemployment rate would not be above a certain number remember what it was? Didn't happen and now the people that were unemployed are still unemployed and the numbers don't look good for the remainder of the months leading to the election.
Also, people just don't trust the entire government to do the right thing anymore. When they continue to say give it time, what that mean is we need to spend more money. They can not spend their way out of this mess, and if the Bush tax cuts expire, it will cripple the economy even more. The liberal base want's higher taxes on the rich, but, they fail to realize it's hard to get a job from a poor person.

How to Create more Twitter followers
The easy way to get more twitter followers is to follow more people. Go to as many different trending sites as possible and click on people. The more people you click, the more will click you back. If this sounds simple, it's because it is. When you see these url's with get 100 free followers, it's a scam, they just want you to visit their site, plane and simple. Don't fall for it.

Chrysler, The Democrats and Your Government at Work
Chrysler Dealerships--Interesting Story
This could be a scandal of epic proportions and one that makes Nixon's Watergate or Clinton's Monica Lewinsky affair pale by comparison. Why was there neither rhyme nor reason as to which dealerships of the Chrysler Corporation were to be closed? Roll the clock back to the weeks just before Chrysler declared bankruptcy in 2009. Chrysler, like GM, was in dire financial straits and federal government "graciously" offered to "buy the company" and keep them out of bankruptcy and "save jobs." The feds organized their "Automotive Task Force" to fix Chrysler and GM. Obama, in an act that is 100% unconstitutional, appointed a guy named Steve Rattner to be the White House's official Car Czar - literally, that's what his title is. Rattner is the liaison between Obama, Chrysler, and GM. Initially, the national media reported that Chrysler 'had made this list of dealerships'. Not true! The Washington Examiner, Newsmax, Fox News and a host of other news agencies discovered that the list of dealerships was put together by the "Automotive Task Force" headed by no one other than Mr. Steve Rattner. Now the plot thickens. Remember earlier we said that there was neither rhyme nor reason why certain dealerships were closed? Actually there's a very interesting pattern as to who was closed down. Again, on May 27, 2009, The Washington Examiner and Newsmax exposed the connection. Amazingly, of the 789 dealerships closed by the federal government, 788 had donated money, exclusively to Republican political causes, while contributing nothing to Democratic political causes. The only "Democratic" dealership on the list was found to have donated $7,700 to Hillary's campaign, and a bit over $2,000 to John Edwards. This same dealership, reportedly, also gave $200.00 to Obama's campaign. Does that seem a little odd to you? Steve Rattner is the guy who put the list together. Well, he happens to be married to a Maureen White. Maureen happens to be the former national finance chairman of the Democratic National Committee. As such, she has access to campaign donation records from everyone in the nation- Republican or Democrat. But of course, this is just a wacky "coincidence," we're certain. Then comes another really wacky "coincidence." On that list of dealerships being closed down, a weird thing happened in Arkansas, North Louisiana, and Southern Missouri. It seems that Bill Clinton's former White House Chief of Staff, Mack McClarty, owns a chain of dealership in that region, partnered with a fellow by the name of Robert Johnson. Johnson happens to be founder of Black Entertainment Television and was a huge Obama supporter and financier. These guys own a half dozen Chrysler stores under the company title of RLJ-McClarty-Landers. Interestingly, none of their dealerships were ordered closed - not one! While all of their competing Chrysler/Dodge and Jeep dealership were! Eight dealerships located near the dealerships owned by McClarty and Johnson were ordered shut down. Thus by pure luck, these two major Obama supporters now have virtual monopoly on Chrysler sales in their zone. Isn't that amazing? Go look in The Washington Examiner, the story's there, and it's in a dozen or so other web-based news organizations; this isn't being made up. Now if you thought Chrysler was owned by Fiat, you are mistaken. Under the federal court ruling, 65% of Chrysler is now owned by the federal government and the United Auto Workers union! Fiat owns 20%. The other 15% is still privately owned and presumably will be traded on the stock market. Obama smiles and says he doesn't want to run the auto industry. As horrifying as this is to comprehend, and being as how this used to be the United States of America, it would appear that the president has the power to destroy private businesses and eliminate upwards of 100,000 jobs just because they don't agree with his political agenda. This is Stalin stuff, and it's happening right here, right now, in our back yard. There are voices in Washington demanding an explanation, but the "Automotive Task Force" has released no information to the public or to any of the senators demanding answers for what has been done. Keep your ear to the ground for more on this story. If you've ever wanted to make a difference about anything in your life, get on the phone to your national senator or representative in the House and demand an investigation into this. Benjamin Franklin had it right when he said, "All that's necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." Car Czar No More An amazing thing happened as this story was going to press. Obama's Car Czar, Steve Rattner, resigned on July 13 and was promptly replaced by former steel workers union boss Ron Bloom. According to CBS News, Rattner left "to return to private life and spend time with his family." Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner said, "I hope that he takes another opportunity to bring his unique skills to government service in the future." By the way, Rattner is under investigation for a multi-million dollar pay-to-play investment bank scandal in New York .... Uh-oh! But, we're certain that had nothing to do with his resignation. And, according to several news sources out there, there are rumors he's being investigated for what could be pay-to-play scandal involving the closing of Chrysler and GM dealerships. Really? Again, that couldn't have anything to with his resignation-that's ridiculous! Like CBS said, this guy just wants to "spend more quality time with his family." Obama has 32 personally appointed "czars" who answer to no one but him, all of whom are acting without any Constitutional authority. But hey, we're sure they all have "unique skills,"......as Tim Geithner likes to say! SOOOOO.HOWS THE CHANGE WORKING FOR YOU?.. Check it out at the following websites..... http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/blogs/beltway-confidential/Furor-grows-over-partisan-car-dealer-closings-46261447.html <http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/Obamas-auto-policy-All-in-the-Democratic-family-44414452.html> http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/Obamas-auto-policy-All-in-the-Democratic-family-44414452.html This goes beyond corruption in high places - to gross criminal actions on the part of our government! I hope you will spread this far and wide, and hopefully the taxpaying public will demand some of that transparency we were promised......followed by criminal prosecution of the perpetrators! What a crooked government, we have!!!!! Vote 'em all out...November, 2010! |
